P.J. O’Connell serves as one of Graham-Pelton’s vice presidents, providing counsel and executive supervision to religious organizations, educational institutions, and healthcare. P.J. has extensive experience in directing capital campaigns, conducting major gift solicitations, training volunteers, managing and supervising staff, and implementing goal-oriented, results-driven plans.
Prior to joining Graham-Pelton, P.J. held a senior level position with another national fundraising consulting firm, where he provided service to major universities, arts organizations, Catholic dioceses, and secondary schools. P.J. has also worked as a major gifts officer at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA, and as director of development for St. Patrick High School in Chicago.
P.J. holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from DePauw University.
